Surgutneftegas (SNG) is one of the three major oil giants in Russia. It was established in March 1993. Its oil production accounts for one eighth of Russia's total oil production and its natural gas production accounts for one third of China's total domestic production. The company has one oil production company, two refineries and 10 oil sales companies.
